Stepper
Stepper builds climbing strength and steady leg endurance with a controlled, repeatable step pattern. Keep posture tall and pressure through the whole foot to avoid turning it into a calf-only grind.
Instructions
Step onto the stepper and place feet fully on the pedals. Stand upright with light hand support if needed. Begin stepping in a smooth, continuous rhythm. Control intensity through step rate and resistance while keeping hips stable and posture tall.
Avoid Common Mistakes
• leaning heavily on the handrails
• locking the knees at the bottom
• uneven weight transfer between legs
• stepping too fast and losing control
Variations
• steady aerobic stepping
• low-cadence high-resistance work
• interval efforts
• single-leg emphasis
• hands-free balance focus
