Split Squat Jump
Split Squat Jump adds reactive power and fast switching while keeping a clear split stance. The goal is quick and crisp—land stable, then explode again without drifting.
Instructions
Stand in a split stance with one foot forward and the other back. Lower into a split squat position. From the bottom, jump explosively upward and switch the legs in the air. Land softly in a split stance with the opposite leg forward, absorbing the impact before the next repetition.
Avoid Common Mistakes
• landing stiff without absorbing impact
• collapsing the front knee inward
• losing balance during the leg switch
• rushing repetitions with poor control
Variations
• with reduced jump height
• with pause between jumps
• slower controlled descent, explosive jump
• alternating tempo
• limited range of motion
