Push-Up – elevated
Push-Up – elevated reduces load by raising the hands, making it easier to keep a strong body line. It's also a great way to practice perfect shoulder mechanics before going to the floor.
Instructions
Place hands on an elevated surface such as a bench or box, body in a straight line from head to heels. Set the core and keep shoulders stable. Lower the chest toward the hands by bending the elbows. Push back up until the arms are extended without locking, maintaining full-body tension.
Avoid Common Mistakes
• letting the hips sag or rise
• flaring the elbows excessively
• incomplete range of motion
• rushing repetitions without control
Variations
• with higher or lower hand position
• with pause at the bottom
