Cross-body V-up

Cross-body V-up challenges diagonal core lines by linking opposite arm and leg in one motion. This "cross pattern" is common in athletic movement and helps train coordination, not only strength.

Instructions

Lie on your back with arms extended overhead and legs straight. Engage the core and lift one arm and the opposite leg at the same time, meeting them over the midline of the body. Keep the movement controlled and balanced. Lower slowly back to the starting position and repeat on the other side.

Avoid Common Mistakes

• using momentum instead of core control

• lifting the lower back excessively off the floor

• bending the arms or legs too much

• moving too fast and losing coordination

Variations

• with limited range of motion

• with pause at the top

• alternating sides slowly

• slower controlled lowering

• higher repetitions at low intensity
