Box Jump Over
Box Jump Over adds continuous movement by landing and transitioning over the box in one flow. This style trains quick decision-making and rhythm, which is useful for agility and reactive power.
Instructions
Stand facing the box with feet shoulder-width apart. Perform a two-foot jump onto the box and immediately jump over to the other side with minimal ground contact. After landing, rotate the body to face the box again and repeat the sequence. Focus on quick, light contacts and controlled landings.
Avoid Common Mistakes
• landing stiff without absorbing impact
• excessive pause on top of the box
• collapsing knees inward on takeoff or landing
• using a box height that is too high
Variations
• with lower or higher box
• with reduced jump speed
• with pause on the box
• alternating rotation direction
• continuous fast rhythm
